Each day, our magnificent maintenance crew cleans, maintains and refurbishes properties across our portfolio; critically important work that helps keep our homes safe and welcoming for our housing community.
Some crew members have lived with SCH for more than ten years. Others, like cousins Steward and Junior, recently secured safe housing and regular employment with us.
Ongoing, regular work is the only clear way out of poverty for most of us, and decent jobs not only provide us with incomes, they provide us with friendships, with meaning, and they can also support good mental health.
