New Board Member: Dennis O’Keeffe

Dennis O'Keeffe

Welcome our New Board Member: Dennis O’Keeffe

We’re really pleased to have Dennis join the Board as Treasurer. He brings a wealth of experience in finance and the for-purpose sector, including senior roles in local government, he is already a great addition to the team. We’ll let Dennis introduce himself: “I am a new Australian and will celebrate 40 years here in October. Melbourne has always been my Australian home. I grew up in Waterford in Ireland and still get back there regularly to spend time with my Mum and siblings. I have 2 adult kids, Ruairí and Ciara who both love their joint Irish and Australian experiences. I have a professional finance background and over the last decade have worked for “for purpose” organisations mostly in local government. I was Chief Financial Officer at the City of Port Phillip for 5 years and this is where I first learned about the excellent work SKCH does in the area of homelessness. I also currently sit on the Board of Alpine Children’s Services based in Bright and really enjoy my opportunity to give back to community. On the personal front I am a vinyl addict, Liverpool FC fanatic and for my sins a Melbourne Football Club member.” We are very happy to have Dennis on our team!.
