Welcome to Our New Board Members – Natasha Liddell & Nathan Shafir

Welcome to Our New Board Members

At the heart of our For Purpose social housing agency lies a gifted group of dedicated individuals who selflessly contribute their expertise to drive our mission forward. Our Board Members are the strategic guardians of our organisation, providing critical oversight, governance, and invaluable wisdom that extends far beyond their volunteer roles.

The calibre of leadership and professional insight our Board brings is truly remarkable. Their collective experience and strategic guidance are instrumental to our success, representing a level of expertise that would otherwise be financially out of reach for a grassroots organisation such as ours.

We are thrilled to announce two exceptional additions to our Board of Directors:

Natasha Liddell
Natasha is an established property professional with a background in planning, community housing and development. Her experience ranges from the delivery of expert evidence at VCAT to the preparation of strategic plans and the delivery of innovative housing projects. Natasha is looking forward to having the opportunity to better understand the St Kilda Community Housing renter community, and the challenges and opportunities of our operating environment. With the ability to be both highly analytical and strategic, Natasha will be instrumental in guiding our future growth and direction.

Nathan Shafir OAM
Nathan brings a wealth of nonprofit governance experience to our Board. As a lecturer in Marketing and Commerce with a distinguished track record of service on several nonprofit boards, he offers a nuanced understanding of strategic nonprofit leadership. His deep expertise in giving strategies and communications, coupled with extensive community connections, will be transformative for our outreach and engagement efforts. Nathan’s proven commitment to the nonprofit sector, demonstrated through his multiple board roles, underscores the valuable perspective he brings to our organisation.

We are profoundly grateful to Natasha and Nathan for generously sharing their time, expertise, and passion with our organisation. Their commitment reinforces our ability to create meaningful impact in the housing sector and support those most in need.

Welcome to the team!
