The Social Meals program is a collaboration between St Kilda Community Housing, Port Phillip Community Group and Port Phillip Council.
Port Phillip Council provide funding to PPCG to visit STKCH properties once a month to prepare a nutritious meal that can be enjoyed by the residents.
The wonderful Fiora, along with volunteers and the housing managers encourage residents to help in the preparation, and it provides a great regular social occasion for the residents.
Residents have the choice of eating a meal together, or having a “take-away” meal to enjoy at their leisure. The program covers approximately half of our properties, and is greatly enjoyed by all involved.
